At VJB, Catherine onboards our VJB families, spearheads the company’s front office operations, and leads the company’s social media strategy.
Catherine holds a First Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University (UK), where she graduated as the top female student in her cohort. She began her career with Singapore Airlines as a specialist management trainee, before moving to Singapore’s Ministry of Health, where she was involved in crisis management and operational planning.
Having lived and studied in both the United Kingdom and the United States for extended periods, Catherine brings a global perspective to her work, alongside a strong personal interest in education—an area closely aligned with VJB’s core focus on educational consulting.
After stepping away from her corporate career to raise her two children, Catherine remained actively engaged in leadership and service through volunteer roles at Anglo-Chinese School (Primary), Raffles Institution, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary, and her church. She has also served on the alumni executive committee of Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ School since 2015 and is currently in her second term as Honorary Secretary. With a keen interest in digital engagement, she has successfully built and managed her Shiba Inu Keiko’s Instagram presence and has overseen her alma mater’s Facebook page since its inception.
Catherine is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, and is conversant in Korean, which she is actively studying due to her interest in Korean culture and history. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, Pilates, and spending time with friends, family and her dog, Keiko
